Routing Helpdesk
When flying aerotaxi or privately it's not uncommon to encounter airport pairs
for which European airway restrictions (RAD/CDR/active zones) are particularly complex.
The RouteFinder team can assist in finding a valid Eurocontrol routing for your flight:
- Availability: published in Flight Planner page according to staffing
- Limited to IFR plans for the time being (VFR dep/arr will be available shortly)
- Limited to flights that can be checked by the Eurocontrol IFPS validator (IFPUV)
- Response time is not guaranteed and depends on operator workload
- Guaranteed Service Level will be available upon additional subscription
How to request a routing - from the Flight Planner page:
- Select an aircraft type and adjust Equipment/PBN info
- Enter at least "Departure" and "Destination"
- Set DOF (UTC Date of Flight) and EOBT (UTC Off-block/departure time)
(or leave default)
- Enter "Requested FL" or leave blank to accept any level
- Press the button "Request route"
- You will get an e-mail notification from "rfinder@asalink.net" as soon as a response is available (description of routing found, or explanation if no routing available)
How to retrieve the routing
The requested routing(s), if found, will be available in the Route Database
- Visit the "Flight Planner" page
- Enter at least "Departure" and "Destination"
- Click "Search route DB": the requested routing should be listed in the results
- Click on a routing to load it into the flight planner (map and calculations will update immediately)
